TEAM PROFILES

Arnold Young
CEO/Founder

Mr. Young founded Nice Touch Solutions, Inc. in 1996 after a long career in the construction industry, where his work was primarily focused on developing Information Technology (IT) solutions. He has been a registered Civil Engineer in California and Hawaii since 1975.

Prior to starting NTS, he was Vice President of Management Information Systems at Ball, Ball and Brosamer, Inc. where he worked for over 13 years. He was responsible for managing the flow of information throughout the organization in operations, estimating, accounting, and administration - both on a software application basis and with the hardware infrastructure.

For the previous 10 years, Mr. Young worked as a consulting engineer with Harris & Associates and Consoer, Townsend and Associates where he was responsible for conceptual project analysis and reports, engineering design and specifications, and construction management primarily in Clean Water Act projects in California. Prior to being the Assistant Construction Manager at Harris & Associates, he was a Resident Engineer and Design Engineer for a number of pipeline and wastewater treatment projects.

His programming career began in 1970 at CT&A and continued as he automated paper processes at both H&A and BBB developing many business and operations database applications, while doing his engineering and management functions.

Mr. Young holds a BS in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University and MS in Civil Engineering from San Jose State University.


Rebecca Young
Director of Business Development

Ms. Young began her career in the banking industry. She started one of the industy’s first affinity bankcard division launching VISA and MasterCard co-branded programs with Amoco Oil, John Hancock Insurance and AT&T resulting in a half of a million accounts in 24 months.

In 1992, Ms Young took her marketing/ sales skills to technology clients. As VP of Call Center Management for Zacson Corporation, she established outsourced operations centers for IBM, ROLM, Pacific Bell, and Sun Microsystems. In 1994, Ms. Young became VP of Marketing for Premenos Corporation, an eCommerce company and market leader in transaction management software for the mid-range market supporting several industries but with a special focus in Retail. In addition to multiple marketing communications responsibilities, she formalized Premenos’ product marketing function and supervised the launch of the first Internet security middleware software. She supported the IPO roadshow which resulted in raising $70+ M. After Harbinger corporation purchased Premenos, she was promoted to VP of Industry Solutions / Vertical Markets for Harbinger Corporation, an eCommerce company serving 44,000 customers worldwide. Her team launched two successful Internet portals for the automotive and grocery industries.

After years of supporting Global 1000 companies and their need to do transactions with their supply chains more efficiently, Ms.Young left Harbinger and, with her partner Arun Shrestha, built iApex, a global ASP gateway for business transaction management. Rebecca was the Chief Operations Officer. In 2001, the technology was sold to another company and Rebecca began providing marketing strategy and business development plans to NTS.


Tina Hubbard
Director of Sales and Marketing

Ms. Hubbard is responsible for sales and marketing for Nice Touch Solutions, Inc. She has over 8 years experience in the software and services industry. During her career she has sold and marketed eCommerce, Infrastructure Management, and Asset Management solutions to both midsize and enterprise companies, exceeding all sales expectations.

Prior to joining Nice Touch Solutions, Ms. Hubbard was responsible for the sales and marketing at iApex, a global ASP gateway for business transaction management. Before iApex, Ms. Hubbard managed and launched three major products for Peregrine System where she was responsible for all lead generation, product positioning, press and analyst communications, and product reviews.

Prior to Peregrine Systems, Ms. Hubbard sold EDI products for Premenos. She was also a key sales person for Premenos’ leading product – Templar – the first online, secure transaction management solution for doing business-to-business exchange of transactions.

Ms. Hubbard began her career as performance coordinator for IBM’s Western Call Center. She developed and implemented incentive programs for five distinct business units within IBM, resulting in the first productivity tracking for these units. She also coordinated training for technical support staff with the objectives to improve database integrity, customer satisfaction ratings, and increase the technical expertise of the staff. She also managed a staff of 14 in IBM’s inbound Customer Support Unit serving the customers, business partners, prospects and IBM representatives for California.
